Our Manifesto
Let’s go back to the time when you last went on a trip - you know, when you packed your rucksack or suitcase, put on your hiking boots, got into your car or boarded a plane- thus beginning a journey into the unknown.
Remember how you felt? Happy to get away from the daily grind? Perhaps a bit of adrenalin? That sense of excitement that comes with pure freedom? Journeys like these always bring back memories. Memories you create with both your fellow travellers and those who are really the soul of any region or country: The actors of the local tourism.
Shop owners, artists, restaurant owners and many more, who guided, wowed and inspired you with their local knowledge, handicrafts and unique culinary skills. The local people who introduced and welcomed you to their culture and surroundings, making all those special moments you have since shared with your family and friends.
The impact they have on our adventures is priceless!
As is the case with many of us, these people are being badly affected by the worldwide pandemic. They have been struggling daily as tourism dries up and it goes without saying that some of them will have an extremely hard time finding their way back from this.
Give back to those who help make the travel experience so rewarding and get them back on their feet. There will be plenty of time to travel further afield once this crisis is behind us, but for now it is time to help your regional tourism industry so they can continue to make memories for many years to come!
