Long distance ski tours in Austria

The ski touring options in Sellrain are legendary and correspondingly popular. The surprising thing is that with a little local knowledge, you can even find secluded variants on the classics. In combination with the huts scattered throughout the area, this results in extremely varied crossings.

On the third day, we climb back up to the Hochschwab summit as early as possible and then continue to Rauchtal. We then descend via this and take the summer trail, which leads us back to the Bodenbauer.

On the second day, the route leads from the Sonnschienhütte over the Hochschwab to the Voisthalerhütte. A great crossing that requires good orientation and visibility.

The first stage leads from the Bodenbauer to the Sonnschienhütte via the Häuslalm.
