Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and one of the most important metropolises in Northern Europe. A visit to the city is definitely worthwhile, as much of the city's life takes place on the waterfront. Historical buildings and a whole series of sights are lined up next to each other. Copenhagen's surroundings are also worth a visit.

Experience Copenhagen on foot - Hygge in perfection

"Wonderful, wonderful, Copenhagen": This classic song from 1952 is as relevant today as it was then, because Copenhagen is indeed a wonderful place with a unique flair that continues to captivate many visitors. Here you will experience an incomparable mixture of historical architecture, modern zeitgeist and varied leisure activities. The whole thing is spiced up with the typical Danish "hygge", a special cosy feeling that makes this city so appealing. You can experience the magic and unique atmosphere of Copenhagen at first hand on a guided city tour.

How much does a guided tour in Copenhagen cost?

In Copenhagen, there are many different city tours that can be booked. You can choose between a classic city tour, where you are introduced to the main highlights, or a themed tour, which presents Copenhagen and its uniqueness.

There are guided tours on topics such as:

  • Copenhagen's Royal House
  • Copenhagen's parks
  • Copenhagen from the water
  • Copenhagen by bike
  • Culinary Copenhagen

Depending on the duration and type of tour, the costs vary. The classic city tour in English costs between 20 and 40 euros per person. There are also guided tours in other languages for small groups. Here you have to reckon with group prices between 270 and 400 euros.

How many days should you spend in Copenhagen?

One day in Copenhagen is certainly not enough to get to know the city with all its exciting facets. So plan at least a weekend trip. For the maximum Copenhagen experience, we recommend that you plan at least three to four days for your visit.

Very nice trip, good to start diving into the city and easy to take a few turns left and right if something looks interesting (e.g. in Christiania or the old town). There's also a new bike/foot bridge that allows a detour if the ferry isn't coming quickly enough (like in our case).
